PAL National (Police Athletic/Activities League) – a recreation oriented juvenile crime prevention program that relies heavily upon athletics, recreational activities and education.
National PAL’s mission and commitment is to "Filling Playgrounds, Not Prisons."National Police Athletic League serves more than half a million youth, ages 5 to 18. It is a collection of Law enforcement agencies utilizing athletics, recreational and educational activities to instill positive life principles and character building tools in an effort to deter juvenile crime and violence.PAL centers offer structured and personal guidance in a safe, friendly environment. PAL provides a host of physical activities including, archery, baseball, basketball, bowling, boxing, flag football, golf, track and field, tennis, racquetball, etc. PAL also provides a wide range of activities in performing and creative arts. These programs include music, dance, drama, art, crafts, photography and others.
